ౠMcIntyre made his surprise return on the December 2 episode of WWE Raw, as he attacked Sami Zayn a🌳fter the main event, where Zayn lost to Seth Rollins.
After the show, Drew McIntyre took to Twitter/X and commented on his return. He said that if you don't hear it from him, live on WWE programming or his social media channels, assume ev𓃲erything you hear abo🐻ut him is not true. McIntyre also noted that everyone had forgotten so quickly.

Before his return, McIntyre had not appeared on WWE programming since he lost to CM Punk in a Hell 🍷in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood on October 5.
