Eddy Thorpe has a twist of fate on WWE NXT.
Thorpe scored a major win on the December 3 epi𒅌sode of WWE NXT, as he emerged victorious in a L💃ast Chance Qualifying Match for the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge. He pinned Lexis King to clinch the win and punch his ticket to NXT Deadline.
Thorpe then expressed his confidence about winning the Iron Survivor Challenge in an interview. However, in the closing moments of the show, Thorpe was found laid out backstage. The attack left Thorpe's status for the Men's Iron Su🅺rvivor Challenge unclear.

Thorpe getting laid out came after he accidentally knocked NXT General Manager Ava to the ground on the November 26 episode. Shawn Michaels got physical with Thorpe after the incident, and NXT Champion Trick Williams hinted that Ava's bloodline could come looking for revenge. Ava is the daughter of The Rock, so there is no shortage of po𝓀tential Bloodline members who could have targeted Thorpe.
