UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and his entourage attacked a buꦇs full of UFC fighters this past Thursday, allegedly attempting to get revenge on UFC 223 headliner Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor has sinc🧸e turned himself into authorities and has already been released after paying bail, but the champions legal issues 🌱may ꦗbe far from over.
Michael Chiesa was one of the fighters on that bus attacked by McGregor and company, but Chiesa was also a person who suffered physical harm during the carnage. Chiesa has reportedly suffered several facial lacerations, which were serious enough to get his bout against former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis at UFC 223 canned altogether.
is now reporting that the UFC fighter has filed a police report against McGregor, who was charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of criminal mischief. TMZ Sports also reports that Chiesa has spoken🎃 with the authorities twice, once in the arena shortly after the attack and once in a hotel later in the evening.
The other fighter who suffered an injury during the attack was Ray Borg, but there is no word yet as to whether or not he has filed any kind of report against McGregor. Borg was supposed to battle Brandon Moreno at UFC♏ 223, but Borg's injuries were serious enough that his bout would also be pulled from the event.
There is also no word at this time from the UFC as to what kind of punishment, if any, would be given to McGregor🃏 for his actions this past week.
