Conor McGregor's next court💜 date for his involvem𝕴ent in the brawl at the Barclays Center has been set.
McGregor, who spent last night in jail in the New Yorkꦆ Police Department's 78th precinct, was transported to court this morning where it was announced his next court date would be June 14. It was announced that McGregor's bail would be $50,000.
The former UFC featherweight champion did turn himself in Thursday night when he was sought for questioning following an altercation at UFC 223 media day that left him fleeing from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The incident occurred as McGregor was targeting Khabib Nurmagomedov, who had a verbal confrontation with McGregor's teammate Artem Lobov earlier in the week in New York. McGregor was arrested just before 10:30 p.m. EST on April 5 and was charged with three counts of ass༒ault and one for criminal mischief as a result.
As a result of his and his group's actions, there had been a few changes made to the UFC 223 card, mainly the cancelations of three fights ♋on the card.
The main event of the UFC 223 pay-per-view card also went through several changes, mostly unrelated to McGregor's actions. Anthony Pettis, who was one of the fighters whose fight got canceled as a result of the brawl, was in the running to fight Nurmagomedov in the main event for the title. Pettis ultimately declined the fight after reportedly not being happy with what the UFC offered Pettis financially to take the main event slot. Pettis' opponent Michael Chiesa sustained cuts from the incident, which left him unable to get rea🐬dy for his fight against Pettis. Nurmagomedov is currently set to hꦬeadline UFC 223 against Al Iaquinta.
Fightful will provide live coverage of the entire UFC 223 card which takes placꦓe at the Barclays Center and will have a post-show podcast on 365betvisa-slots.com and on YouTube.
