“Yeah, and there's — AEW is gonna come out with, for Black History Month, there's a Hip Hop compilation that's being put together right now that I think the world is going to really, really love.
“I always like to see people in our industry cross-brand and reach out and do things that was not expected of them.”
Mikey Rukus, AEW'ꦚs music producer, later responded to this article discussing fur𝐆ther details on the project.
Per💝 Rukus, he assembled producers, musicians, rappers/artist༒s within the pro wrestling space to come together and tell the stories of AEW's black talent. Names included are Sonny Kiss, Lio Rush, Max Caster, Mega Ran, Righetous Reg, Will Washington, Josiah Williams, and more.
Josiah worked with NXT in the recent past and performs Shawn Spears' t🌳heme. Mega Ran can be heard on King Woods' theme today. Reg and Will can be heard every Saturday on Fightful's Grapsody podcast.
