Gabe Kidd says Kenny Omega is pathetic.
The rivalry between Kenny Omega and Gabe Kidd heated up in the last few months of 2024. They took shots at each other at different points, and they were involved in a backstage altercation at NJPW Pšower Struggle. Omega then agreed to face Kidd in his in-ring return at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, which will mark his first match since December 2023.
In a new interview with , Gabe Kidd was asked whź¦”ether he saw what Oāmega said about him while speaking with Sapp.
"I saw some clips. He can say what he wants. Iāve been wrestling this whole year. Active. Actively war-ready going into fights. He can do whatever he wants to prepare for this. He can go to the gym, he can hang out with his little friend Ibushi. He can do whatever he wants. Itās not going to compare to anything that Iām going to bring to that fight. Letās get that clear. Itās not a match, itās a fight. He can do what he wants. He can say what he wants. The fact is, heās a pathetic weak man. Thatās the reality of the situation. Youāre a pathetic man. Itās easy to say that stuff when youāre not fighting every week and away from everything you care about. Donāt talk to me about anything. You used to be great. Now youāre lunch for me. Dinner," Kidd said.
Sapp then read one quoted one quote froš m his interview with Omegša, in which the former champion said that he didn't know Kidd from a glory hole in the wall. Kidd said that it was entertaining because Omega was a nerd. He stated that he would decimate Omega at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
"Itās entertaining to me because heās such a nerd. He is such a nerd. When youāre in Japan and you see people who are set on going there so they can buy anime merchandise. He is in that category. He loves Japan so much because he likes to go to Akihabara and see the little maids. Little weird fetish nerd. He can say whatever he wants. Heās not going to get in my head. I know where Iāve been this year and I know where heās been. Youāve been in a hospital head. Talk the best trash you want to talk. Iām going to decimate you. Youāre not going to be ready. Iām always war-ready," Kidd said.
Sapp then said that Omega called Kidd āa giant poop stain on the image of NJPW. Kidd replied by saying that whenever he saw NJPW being talked about in the news, his name was involved. He noted that Omegaļ潚°ļæ½ would realize that he shouldn't have been running his mouth when he slapped him up.
"Thatās funny because anytime I see New Japan being talked about in the news, my name is involved in it. Thatās ignorance. Ignorance is bliss, but itās not going to be bliss when youāre getting slapped up by me and you realize you shouldnāt have been talking shit," Kidd said.
Sapp also brought up Omega's claim that he cares more about the relationship between AEW and NJPW than Kidd. Kidd fired back by sayāing that he did not care about the relationship or Omega's claim, and he stated that it š¼was a "pack of nerds" over there.
"I donāt care. I donāt have a single care in the world about the relationship. What relationship? A pack of nerds over there," Kidd said.
