Williams appeared on the No Huꦓddle podcast and said he was at WrestleMania alongside fellow NFL player Gary Barnidge this year and was frustrated with the fact that Gronkowski was in the finish of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

"We were sitting at WrestleMania this year, me and Gary, and when Gronk jumped over there and he went in and he tackled him, Gary saw the frustration in my face and he was like, 'man what's wrong?' I said, 'Gronk doesn't even watch wrestling bro. He's not even a fan.' His friend wrestles but he's not even a fan. He has no idea what's going on and he got that involved in it," Williams said.

The 10-year NFL veteran decided to make his wrestling debut at the Slammiversary show, teaming up with Moose, a former NFL player in his own right, to defeat Chris Adonis and Eli Drake. Williams aimed to have the best match of the show and believes that he and Moose had a very good match and possibly came close to having the show-steali✅ng match.

"I said, 'dude, if I ever get the opportunity, I'm going to show you how it's supposed to be done.' That's when Josh hit me up and that's when we became a tag team. We came in at Slammiversary and I'm not going to say we stole the show but you said you wanted to get match of the night. I don't know if we got it or not but we're close," Williams said.

Williams said he's not interested in wrestling as he's trying ⛎to continue his NFL career. Williams is a free agent after spending the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Ste💦elers. Williams' comments can be heard
