WWE Hall of Fâamer and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle has recently discussed how a biopic about his life is in the works. He has said that it will be a two-part story, with the first installment exploring his earlyđ life and his triumph in the Olympics.
Speaking on , Kurt Angle discussed the upcoming movie and noted thađt one director who contacted him earlier in the process wanted to make a TV show.
âWhen my documentary came out, Hollywood came calling. I had a few different producers getting a hold of me and saying, âHey, we want to make a movie out of your life.â I had one director, he was like, âListen, I want to do a TV show. I want this to be the next Yellowstone.â Iâm like, âOkay, what do you want in it?â Heâs like, âI want everything.â I said, âWell, there are things my family members didnât, they donât want to bring back up. They donât want this to surface again. They donât want to relieve that anymore.â Thereâs a lot of crazy stuff that happened in my family that I really didnât want to be aired on TV. I said, âAre you gonna add that stuff?â He said, âEverything. I want everything or I donât want nothing at all.â I said, âHow about we just make a movie?â He said, âNo, itâs either a TV show or Iâm not doing anything.â I was like, âWell, Iâm sorry man. I respect the heck out of you, but I canât do a TV show then. Iâll try to find someone else who will do a movie,'" Angle said.
