Former Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams turned heads with his pro wrestling de but at Sunday Night's Slammiversary show, but how much preparation 🅘he had turned even more h𒉰eads. And now he's retiring. (More on that last thing in a bit.)
Williams impressed many, landing smooth shoulder blocks, Samoan drops, f꧃ro♚g splashes among other spots on his way to a victory over Chris Adonis and Eli Drake at the show. His tag team partner and friend Moose dropped a bomb, revealing Williams had only trained three times before the match.
Too bad that now Williams says he's retiring. He : “It was my debut and my retirement all at the same time.” Williams, now 34, said that GFW asked him to keep wrestling, but he turned them do🍨wn. Too bad.
Video𓂃 emerged a month ago of the free agent running back training with Scott D'Amore in Canada in preparation for his debut. His performance earned high marks from wrestlers and fans alike.
