The drama surrounding Cortney Casey and ওthe Texas Department Of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) may have finally seen its conclusion.
Casey recently received a letter from the TDLR that has stated that her ninety day suspension has been rescinded and her no contest against Jessica Aguilar at UFC 211 has been reverted back to a win.
“After reexamination of the documents in our possession and careful examination of the Sample B results, your 90-day suspension is lifted effective June 29, 2017, the enforcement case dropped with no further action taken, and the bout ‘win’ reinstated on your record,” said the document sent to ♉Casey by TDLR executive director Brian Francis (which was also obtained by )🌜.
There has been a lot of support given to the female strawweight since the supposedly failed drug test after UFC 211. The UFC and𒊎 the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) boไth exonerated Casey from any wrong doing.
Then the UFC stepped up in a major way by issuing a public statement to the TDLR in defense of 𒅌Casey, even offering help on the drug testing side of things for the TDLR.
Nꦆow that the fighters suspensi𒐪on has been lifted, it is now only a matter of time before she looks to pick up another win in the Octagon.
