The UFC 202 pre-fight press conference between then UFC Featherweight Champion (now lightweight champion) Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz got heated quickly, which lead to both fighters and members of th𝔉eir teams throwing water bottles at each other.
McGregor and Diaz were both handed punishm🍎ents by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC), both had also put the incident behind them.
However, according to a report from , a man who was at the event is suing McGregor because he claims that he was struck in the back by a can of Mon🌞ster 𒅌Energy.
It’s unknown at this time if the can was empty or full, it is also unknown where the can resides at this꧙ v♔ery moment.
William Pegg is the name of the man suing McGregor, alleging that injuries sustai🦄ned from the can cost🔥 him $5,000 in medical expenses.
Due to the injuries and the out ꧟of pocket medical expenses, the injured man is 𒁏suing McGregor for $95,000.
In response to the lawsuit, the McGregor legal teꦿam has denied any responsibility on the fighter’s end and Pegg has also named McGregor Spor🍸ts & Entertainment in the suit.
It is unknown at this time when McGregor is returning to the UFC after The Money Fight, but hﷺe is expected to face Diaz in a trilogy fight when heಞ does make that return.
