Former WWE United States, Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion Shelton Benjamin is set to return to the company soon, and on the Smackdown Live brand. Benjamin has comp😼eted for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling NOAH since his 2010 WWE release.
Benjamin is perhaps best remembered for his WWE Money in the Bank ladder match performances, in which he always came up short. Benjamin also had memorable matches against Shawn Michael🃏s, The Undertaker and Christian, as well as big wins over Chris Jericho, Triple H, and others.
The 41-year old Benjamin was recently rumored to have been contacted by the WWE, al𓆉ong with MVP. Benjamin's longtime partner Charlie Haas had formerly worked independent dates with Benjamin, but retired 🔯earlier this year.
Also on Smackdown, former ECW and NWA꧑ Champion Rhyno made 🅠his main roster return, attacking Heath Slater.
