WWE Signs Several Female Talents To NXT

The NXT women's division looks to receive a significant infusion of talent soon. Heidi Lo🐽velace, Kimber Lee, and New Zealand-based talent Evie all have signed with WWE and will be joining NXT, presumably sometime in 2017. 

 broke the news on the signin෴gs of Lovelace and Lee, while was the first media outlet to report that WWE had signed Evie.

Lovelace and Kimber Lee both participated in the most recent round of tryouts at the WWE Perforܫmance Center, held in September. Kimber also appeared on last night's episode of NXT, losing to Ember Moon.

Kimber Lee earned mainstream notoriety last December, when she won the CHIKARA Grand Championship, thus becoming the first female wrestler to win a promotion's headline championship. Sexy Star accomplished a similar feat earlier this year, albeit after Kimber Lee, whe🌃n she captured the Lucha Underground Title during Aztec Warfare 3. Kimber Lee also is a decorated tag wrestler, teaming with Cherry Bomb as The Kimber Bombs and winning tag titles for SHINE, SHIMMER, and WSU.

Lovelace also has enjoyed success in CHIKARA, becoming the first fema🌜le to win that promotion's Young Lions Cup, and defending it successfully throughout the year and eventually "retiring" 

Lovelace is the first female in history to win the CHIKARA Young Lions Cup ,which she won in December of 2014. She went on to defend her Young Lions Cup multiple times in 2015, before vacating the championship so a new Young Lions Cup winner could be determined. Lovel✅ace and Ev🐼ie recently were dethroned as SHIMMER Tag Champs. Lovelace and Lee also have been frequent partners and opponents on the independent circuit.

Evie, the most experienced wrestler of the trio, got a tryout with WWE in August of 2014, and appeared on NXT last year, losing a squash match to Nia Jax. In addꦺition to competing in A💎merica for promotions like SHIMMER and SHINE, Evie also spent time this past year working for the STARDOM all-female promotion based out of Japan. 

Evie is not the only female from that area of the globe on the WWE radar. Billie Kay, another Australia native, has been appearing re♛gularly on🍬 NXT TV for several months. Meanwhile, according to , another pair of female wrestlers from Australia, Shazza McKenzie and KellyAnne English, participated in a WWE tryout on Dec. 7, held in Australia in conjunction with the ongoing NXT tour of that country and New Zealand.
