WWE has come under scrutiny for thei♒r 🦋return to Saudi Arabi on Nov. 2.
Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist and Washington Post columnist, disappeared after entering Saudi Arabia'𝓀s consulate in Istanbul, Turkey on Oct. 2 to obtain paperwork that he needed in order to marry his fiancee. reported that Khashoggi was assassinated "on orders from🃏 the highest levels of the royal court." The royal court includes Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the man responsible for Vision 2030 and for bringing WWE to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi officials have denied the allegations.

WWE and Saudi Arabia agreed to a ten-year deal worth millions earlier this year. WWE reportedly made $50 million from the Greatest Royal Rumble event back in April. WWE was criticized at the time for pushing propaganda for the kingdom and for holding the event despite women not being allowed to wrestle or appear on-screen. The Saudi Arabian General Sports Authority had t☂o issue an apology for WWE showing a promo featur꧑ing women.
Crown J🌄ewel is currently scheduled for Nov. 2 at the King Sౠaud University Stadium in Riyadh.
