Vader's son Jesse White informed the world of his father's passing via Vader's official Twitter page. Jesse White himself had a brief stint in WWE's then-developmental territory FCW where he was a former Tag Team Champion with now-WWE color commentator Corey Graves. to discuss how he is feeling following the passing of his father and Jesse stated that things have been difficult but he has received an overwhelming amount of love from the public and from those who knew Leon White. One individual who was close 💜with Vader and who Jesse White stated had comforted Vader over the past 10 months to a year is WWE Hall Of Famer Sting.

“Yeah, of course of course; Diamond Dallas Page, Austin, Mick Foley, and one I do have to send a big thank you is Sting, Steve Borden. He lives in the Dallas suburbs and Sting has been a huge blessing. Not only as of recent but probably I wanna say the last ten months to a year, in my father’s life as well as mine and I’ve been blessed and fortunate enough to witness that between the two of them as well as developing my relationship with Sting.” He said. “And, you know, my father was a God-fearing man and so is Sting, and they would sit down and read the Bible together, go over the Bible, and just talk about life and good time stories and so yeah, Sting has been a huge blessing throughout this process”.
