Low Ki comments on being brought into WWEꦿ as an NXT "rookie."
Low Ki, known as Kaval during his brief time in WWE in 2010, was brought in as a "rookie" on the second season of WWE NXT. Unlike Bryan Danielson, who debuted as Daniel Bryan as a rookie on season 1 of NXT, Ki actually went on to win the whole season, having a brief run on WWE SmackDown that was highlighted by a WWE Inte♒rcontinental Championship match at Survivor Series against Do🌠lph Ziggler.
During an appearance on !, Ki,♎ while discussing his frustrations with his booking in WWE, recalled a writer telling him that, with his amount of experience before he got to WWE, if it were any other job, he would have been brought in at a high-ranking position rather than being labeled "a rookie."
"Everything that I had to go through in that company, I had answers for to try to improve upon, and I was still being met with resistance. I was still being met with the carny nonsense from these office people," he said. "Hell, I had one of the writers tell me, 'With your qualifications, if this was any other job, you would have been brought in as a CEO, but for whatever reason, they bring you in as a rookie.'"
