Stokely Hathaway wasn't able to hang on.
One of the premier managers in the wrestling business, Stokely Hathaway put his career on the line during Sunday's EVO💯LVE 111 show, that saw him tag with Chris Dickinson to take on "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams. The match had a unique set of stipulations, as it was a handicap "I Quit" bout, that saw both Stokely and Williams putting their WWN ca🐼reers at stake.
Several members of Catch Point would attempt to interfere on Stokely's behalf during the match, but it wasn't enough, and Williams was able to over𝓰come the adversity. After the match, Hathaway took to the microphone and said "I've never said this my entire career, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I love each and ev🦩ery one of you, and thank you for the opportunity."
Throughout his career, Hathaway has appeared for Ring of Honor and WWN, among dozens of other promotions and managed several wrestlers꧒ along the way. After the loss, Hathaway took to twitt𝓡er to post the following.

There's also a lot of buzz about the future of Stokely Hathaway after the announcement of an August 12 match in which he and Tracy Williams will be putting their WWN careers on the line. I've heard nothing of Stokely being WWE bound, but know that everyone that I talked to with knowledge of the situation said he made ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒉰ᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚa great impression at WWE Axxess and has people that speak highly of him.
