Samoa Joe ha🌳s returned to challenge Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns came to the ring on Raw to talk about Brock Lesnar and their upcoming match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. Samoa Joe interrupted Roman R🍰eigns to tell him that he thinks Reigns is a failure for not defeating Lesnar and he challeng♏ed Reigns to a match at WWE Backlash.
Samoa Joe had been gone since January with an injury. Before he left, he and Reigns had several matches together including a feud over the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Their las📖t match against each other was on the New Year's Day edition of Raw.
WWE Backlash will be the first co-branded pay-per-view as WWE moves to having both brands on all pay-per-views.
