Sami Callihan Not Apologizing To Fans For Injuring Eddie Edwards

Sami Callihan does not think he is unsafe.

In an interview with , Sami Callihan addressed the controversial ending to his match with Eddie Edwards which aired last week on Impact Wrestling. Callihan put a chair on top of Edwards and hit it wiꦉth a bat which bounced off to hit Edwards in the face. Callihan said if fans and other wrestlers want to call him unsafe then they can.

"This is what really bothers me: This is professional wrestling, is it real or is it fake? Because someone needs to tell me because I really don't know at this point. Right now, I'm being called the most dangerous man in professional wrestling, you know what, go ahead call me that. Because I know at the end of the day I'm one of the baddest MFers walking the planet today," said Callihan. 

But to defend himself, Callihan said if he were🌃 unsafe then he would not be hired by so ꦿmany promotions. 

"You can look at my schedule and see I'm the most booked person on the planet," said Callihan. "I am without a doubt one of the best and most influential wrestler walking this planet today and no one is going to tell me otherwise. I work for House of Hardcore, I work for Lucha Underground, I work for Impact. I am signed to three companies, who can say that I'm unsafe and I'm unhinged?," he continued. 

Callihan also mentioned Impact Wrestling asked him to apologize if the controversy became ♕too intense but he said he would not return to Impact if they wanted him to apoꦜlogize. 

The match which air𝕴ed last Thursday was filmed during the January tapin✃g session of Impact Wrestling and Edwards has been out of action since then.
