"The Master ♒Of The 619" is venturing into the business side of pro wrestling.
As first reported by the, former two-time World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio is making business moves outside of the squared circle. Mysterio will now be an in-ring performer and co-owner for the 'Aro Lucha' wrestling promotion which just got its start last year. 'Aro Lucha' is going about their ownership in a unique way by allowing fans who invest in the product to beco๊me shareholders of the promotion🌟.
'Aro Lucha' is based out of Nashville, TN and the CEO of the prꦗomotion Jason Brown says that its tapings will be starting up over the coming mo♏nths.
Although all the talks concerning Rey Mysterio have to do with his potential return to WWE, Mysterio is focused on building 'Aro Lucha'. Along with co-founders Jason Brown, and Ron & Don Harris, who are formerly known as "8-Ball" & "Skull" from theꦺir early WWF days; Mysterio feels that what they are doing with the promotion is revolutionaryꦇ.
"I think what we are doing with Aro Lucha being fan-owned is revolutionary," Mysterio said. "We are giving the fans something they have never had before, a voice and a chance to get in on the action."
Jason Brown is targeting the wrestling fan who will be completely invested in t𝔉he product. The promotion will be fan-owned and he feels that having fans invest in the product in both aspects of the term is great for business.
"This gives fans a chance to get in on the action, but more so than that it really gives them a voice," Jason Brown said. "Especially at a company like ours, fans are so passionate. They critique every storyline, every character. Well we're able now to actually listen to them."
Back in September of 2017, 'Aro Lucha' sold out its first event at the Nashville Fairgrounds Sports Arena which featured a main event that saw Pentagon Jr. & Rey Mysterio take down Johnny Mundo & CMLL star Rush.
The business manager of Rey Mysterio, Konnan, will be in charge of the 'Aro🌳 Lucha' creative department where he will oversee character storylines for the shows' tapings.
The last two 'Aro Luc𓂃ha' shows have taken place in Texas, but there are on-going talks between Jason Brown and company officials about where in Nashville they want to produce their television show. The tapings are expected to commence in either May or June, and although they do not have an official television partner, Jason Brown is willing to do whatever it takes to distribute the 'Aro Lucha'ℱ product.
