Hideo Itami may be heaą“ding back to his old promotion for one shš¬ow.
According to , WWE has reached an agreement with Pro Wrestling Noah bź¦ut not much was reported on the nature of the deal. The only thing reported about the deal was that Hideo Itami will be traveling to Japan for a NOAH show on August 29th.
Itami last appeared in NOAH under the name KENTA before coming to NXT. When he showed up on NXT, he changed his name to Hideo Itamź¦°i via a video package which played during one of his early appearances.
Since coming to WWE, he worked his way through developmental and debuted on the main roster last December after a one time appearance in 2015 during the Andšre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He now wrestles as part of 205 Live.
In NOAH, Itami was one of the most prolific stars winning tag team Championships, the Junior Heavyweigš°ht Championship, and the Heavyweight Championship which he lost right before joining NXT.
WWE has been eyeing a global expansion as part of the "global localization" efforts which has included partnering with independent wrestling pāromotions in the United Kingdom.
