LA Knight met Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown.
On the September 8 episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman approached WWE official Adam Pearce backstage. He tried to get Pearce to tell him who was getting traded to WWE SmackDown in exchanꦇge for Jey Uso going to Raw. Pearce didn't tell him, so it remains unclear who will be joining the blue brand.
LA Knight interrupted the meeting and told Adam Pearce that he wanted a match with The Miz. He named the September 15 episode as the place, and Pearce agreed to the idea. Heyman then introduced himself to Knight and noted that they had never properly met, but he was a big fan of Knight's work. However, the mood shifted, as Heyman told Knight to knock the next time he saw that Pearce was in a meeting with himꦜ.
Knight then got in Heyman's face when the latter asked if he understood, and he said "Yeah", showing that he wasn't intim𓄧ated by Roman Reigns' Special Counsel.
