Triple H, 🐻who has been instrumental to NXT's development as a sort of t🦂hird brand for WWE, confirmed the news and welcomed Ranallo with open arms on social media.

It has been an extremely busy month for Ranallo. As Showtime Boxing's lead play-by-play commentator, Ranallo was announced to be the lead announcer for the August 26 boxing fight between Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor. Ranallo also recently signed with Bellator MMA and will call the promotion's pay-per-v🌠iew from Madison Square Garden on June 24.

Ranallo signed with WWE in late 2015 to be SmackDown's play-by-play guy after calling New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV alongside Josh Barnett. He and WWE mutually agreed to part ways, according to Ranallo, and said it had nothing ဣto do with𒆙 rumors of JBL hazing Ranallo

During Ranallo🎐's absence from WWE, the SmackDown broadcast team has had a number of changes, with the cu🐷rrent crop of commentators being JBL, Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton. Ranallo was also calling Showtime boxing cards, including the Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko boxing fight from Wembley Stadium back in April.
