Matt Cardona appeared on the December 5 episode of ROH on HonorClub, where he confronted ROꦐH World Champion Chris Jericho and was revealed as his challenger for ROH Final Battle. Cardona then confronted Jericho the following night on AEW Rampage.
In a post on Twitter/X, Cardona commented on his upcoming match against Jericho and noted that you had to workꦫ hard when nobody was watching. He also wrote that you had to love the business when nothing was going your way. Cardona stated that you have to be "Alwayz Ready" because you never know when an opportunity will present itself.
