New Japan Pro-Wrestling confirmed that NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 🌳17 will be headlined by Jay White defending the 😼IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against G1 Climax winner Kazuchika Okada.
The bout was made official at NJPW Declaration of Power in the closing segment. White had successfully defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Tama Tonga and was cutting his post-match promo when Okada, who picked up a victory over JONAH in ⭕the co-main event, entered the ring.
The two men stood face-to-face as it was announced that they wou🀅ld headline the Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2023 at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 1൩7.
