Kris Statlander helps out an old friend.
Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander had a lengthy run as a team, and they were close friends, but Statlande൩r turned on Willow earlier in 2024. They had a heated feud, and Statlander beat Nightingale in a Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out.
At AEW Rampage: Holiday Bash, Kris Sta💧tlander approached Willow Nightingale backstage and wished her well in the International Women's Cup at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. Later i༺n the show, Nightingale scored the win against Harley Cameron. After the bell, Penelope Ford attacked Nightingale, but Statlander ran in for the save. Fans chanted for Statlander and Nightingale to hug it out, but Statlander walked away after a brief staredown.
Penelope Ford said she’d watch Harley Cameron’s back, but thank goodness Willow was saved by…Kris Statlander?!
