Kevin Nash looks back on following Booker āT out of TNA.
Kevin Nash spent several years in TNA, as he was with the company from 2004-2011. He left the company in January 2011 and returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view that month. Nash šthen had a return run with WWE throughout the next yš“ear.
Speaking on his , Kevin Nash was asked to reflect oź¦n his time ā¦in TNA.
āI thinkā¦I mean I worked hard there. I was in good shape. I think the Main Event Mafia thing could have been, that was money. They let [Booker T], it was a bad move to let Book go. Once Book left, I said, āFuck it, Iām bolting.ā I heard Book was gonna be at that Royal Rumble, I said, āShit, not without me.ā So I died my shit black, went out thereā¦," Nash said.
Nash was then asked whether heš± had more creative freedom in TNA, and he noted that he did. He also described how Scott Hall would always discourage him from smartening their peers up regarding being part of the creative process.
āYeahā¦once you know whatās up, you have to be part of the process. All you need is one person thatās good at it. I promise you, the guy thatās good at it doesnāt want to look fucking bad at it. I remember Scott [Hall] would always be like, āDonāt smarten him up.ā Like dude, we gotta work with him. What do you mean, donāt smarten him up? āDonāt say anything when heās got your fucking job.ā Yeah, Scott would always be like, āMan, donāt fucking smarten him up.ā Like youāre the one thatās got the brain," Nash said.
Nash went on to describe how he liked the TNA schešdule, as it let him work four days a month, five with pay-per-views, as they had tapings two weeks apart.
