Josh Alexander is wrapping up his independent dates at ಞthe end of 2024, though he did leave it happen to do special dates here and there.
Alexander made the announcement at Northern Crown, initially saying he was finishing up indeಞpendent dates in Toronto before expanding to independent dates as💛 a whole.
Alexander is currently signed to TNA Wrestling.

egardless of what may or may not be in my future. After talking with my fami♈ly I’ve made the decision to stop taking Indie dates.
I’ve loved my time in the independents these past 20yrs. I’ve done amazing things, worked with amazing people and got to travel the wo🎶rld performing in front of amazing fans.
That being said I’m tired of the hustle. It’s time for the next crop to step up and fill whatever void I m🦩ay leave behind in t💛he Canadian scene.
I have faith because of promotions like

All I ever did was follow my heart. Driving cars into the ground, barely able to afford to eat or pay my bills just so I could get to a s𒀰how and wres🐲tle every weekend was tough but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I’ve met and made lifelong friends. Found my wife along the way and built a life and family to support 🔜m𝕴e for whatever lies ahead.
Thank you to every promotion that booked me (whatever you paid⭕ me helped me keep a roof over my families head more than you know). Every wrestꦫler that worked with me (I learned so much from every match along the way) and every fan that showed support (you kept me going in times when I felt like giving up).
It’s not goodbye. It’s just see you later.

In February, Fightful reported that TNA Wrestling exeﷺrcised an option year on Alexander's contract🍸.

Alexander confirmed Fightful's report that he was hopeful he could explore his contractual possibilities and asked Anthem to pass on the option to do that. However, Anthem had decided to exercise that option by that point, and Alexander said he signed the contract two years ago and he knew what he was doing and that it was 🅰a possibilit✤y. He has no issues with Anthem exercising that right, as it was in the contract, and the ball was in their court. He says that he's happy in TNA. He said that they've discussed other contract options and it's possible that he negotiates another long-term extension before he hits free agency next February.
