Jon Moxley keeps it short and sweet.
These days, Jon Moxley is a top star in AEW, and he holds the AEW World Championship. But years ago, he was making a name for himself on the independent scene, and he took a big swing by calling out WWE's Batista at a CZW show. He later faced Batista during his run as Dean Ambrose in WWE, as A💖mbrose and The Shield feuded with Batista and Evolution.
Speaking with CBS Sports' Shakiel Mahjouri for ,ܫ Jon 🍷Moxley was asked about calling out Batista in CZW and facing him in WWE years later.
"I didn’t even really think about that. My memory of a lot of those years, on that particular circuit, are quite spotty. It was a different time and place. That definitely sounds like something....I would make all kinds of outlandish claims. Batista was cool as fuck. He was a cool guy," Moxley said.
Batista, who has transitioned to a successful career in Hollywood, recently said that he missed wrestling, but he would not tarnish his storybook ending. Check out his comments here.
