According to , Cena will leave WWE in order to film the second season of his American Grit series. The outlet stated that Cena will be leaving in mid-October.
Also set for the MSG show are AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Becky Lynch, The Miz, Dolph Z🐟iggler and Naomi. A pre-sale is underway at Ticketmaster with the code WWEHOLIDAY.
This isn't the first time th𒁃at Cena has taken time off to film for the reality television show. He had a hiatus last year in order to film the first season of American Grit. His break began after Cena lost his United States Championship at last year's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view against a returning Alberto Del Rio.
Cena has noticeably taken a much lighter workಞload as he continues to age, possibly leaning towards the end of his wrestling career as he keeps undergoing movie and television projects. Cena's live event schedule is not nearly as filled in the past couple of 🐲years as it was for the vast majority of his career prior.
