Fans haven't seen muc of John Cena in a WWE ring t🦄his year. Aside from an earlyꦛ year run trying to get on the WrestleMania card and an appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble, Cena has been off fulfilling other entertainment commitments.
One such commitment is a film titled Project X-traction starring Cena and Jackie Chan. The movie is filming in China, not only❀ taking Cena away from the WWE, but from the United States altogether. However, WWE cameras managed to catch up with Cena in China to get an update on how things are going for him in a new country.
"Traveling in WWE is amazing and relentless, but it's only because we have an audience that's so spread out. When we come to perform in Shanghai, we leave the next day because the routing is so difficult, it's logistically impossible to keep you there because there's another show. This is similar to everywhere across the world," said Cena. "I've often told people, 'I've been around the world 25 times and seen nothing.' Being able to come here and make this my home -- I've been here for three months and I'll be here for two more, so five months out of the calendar year. I'm here. I'm living here. I treat it that way. I try to use the language and be accustom to the culture and try different things. I've found places I like and develop my own sense of comfort, but I'm always trying to challenge myself to experience more."
Cena will take time out of his shooting schedule to make an appearance at WWE Super Show-Down this Saturday. He'll team with Bobby Lashley against thꩵe♔ duo of Kevin Owens and Elias.
