Jim Ross didn't care for the fire spot with Kane.

The segment was well received at the time, but now🔯, Ross believes that it was a waste of time and a bit unrealistic.

“Made sense. I didn’t mind doing it because they had a stunt double come in, and they burned him. They just wanted me to scream, which I did. But I thought it was a waste of time. Because it’s unrealistic. It’s was unbelievable. So while your moms are turning the channel because it’s not appropriate for their kids to watch, you have a lot of other fans saying, ‘Why are they doing this?’ I was back on TV in a week or two. It wasn’t even sold well. That ain’t my problem. I didn’t book it. I did what I was told. So I thought it was a waste of time. It was not a good scene. I understand the logic, I do. It just was unbelievable logic, and that’s not the best kind." Ross said on the latest edition of Grilling JR.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Ross praised Marina Shafir for bringing a specific element to the Death Riders in AEW. Click here to check out his full comments on the matter.
