Marty talks to Fightful!

The former ROH World Television Champion Marty Scurll has had an exhilarating past twelve months of his wrestling career. On May 12th of 2017 during Ring Of Honor's 'War Of The Worlds' tour the 'Bullet Club' kicked Adam Cole out of the group and replaced "The Panama City Playboy" with a villain in the form of Marty Scurll. Fast forward 12 months later and Scurll is now a pa꧋rt of the group who has sold out the 'Sears Centre' outside of Chicago, IL for an event that was self-financed.

GCW Dream On Results (11/23): Mance Warner vs. Effy, Matt Cardona In Action

That very event is entitled 'All In' and yesterday afternoon "The Elite"🐟 held a presser forꩵ the September 1st show and after the presser concluded, caught up with Marty Scurll and discussed a number of topics inc♔luding the past 12 months of Marty's career and how things have become surreal.

"Sometimes yeah, its a crazy time." Scurll answering the question of have things been surreal for him. "Its one of those things you really don’t appreciate it until you look back later on its like, ‘Woah, that was crazy’. But not quite often, especially like, I started wrestling for so many years, making no money, not having a pot to piss in, so, yeah, its a really good time. Its a great time for wrestling."

Most professional wrestlers have had a struggle-point in their careers where things did not seem to be in their favor and some considered giving up the sport. The rough patch did not skip over Marty Scurll but Scurl🦩l stated that despite the struggles there was never a doubt in his mind that pro wrestling was the business he was meant to be a part of.

"No, [I] always wanted to do it [wrestling], forever." He said. " If you love something, it doesn’t matter… if money was an object I’d still be doing what I’m doing you know what I mean? Its not… its cool to be a wrestler, as cheesy as it sounds. But no, I always… if you believe in yourself, yeah it sounds cheesy, but if you want it bad enough you can do it. I never envisioned anything else to be honest with you."

The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion also discussed the shift that his fellow 'Bullet Club' members are causing ꧟in the land of pro w🌠restling, and more.
