Trick WilliaāØms is already a two-time NXT Champion, recapturing the šÆtitle on the October 1st episode of NXT by defeating Ethan Page.
Trick made his in-ring debut in October 2021, accomplishing more than many wrestlers in less than tź§hreeš¹ years in the business.
Speaking on before the October 1st episode of NXT, Page was asked for an honest ź¦assessment of Trick's career.
"I mean, heās blowing my mind. Thatās my honest assessment. Three years in, I donāt know dude, three years in, you asked me to do what heās doing? I probably would have panicked and freaked out. But, I also wouldāve been 19 years old three years in, not 30, so itās a little different. I think he is doing exceptional for someone with such little experience. Someone was telling me like a crazy stat, I think heās had like a hundred matches and then they looked up how many matches Iāve had and Iāve had over a thousand. So, weāre completely different when it comes to that, yet, arguably in the same position, I just have so much more experience. So, I donāt envy him whatsoever to have to learn on the job, especially knowing how important this job is. I mean, for me personally, itās the job Iāve been fighting for my entire life. Three years in to be the same spot as me, I mean, he should be proud of himself, especially with how well heās doing. He connects well with the crowd, freak athlete, looks great. Has that it factor star quality. If you throw him in the deep end, Iām sure heāll learn how to swim, he seems like one of those. Iāll give credit where itās due." he said.
Trick bested Page when NXTź§ premiered on CW with the Trick Shot knee to become a two-time NXT Champion.
