DJ Whoo Kidജ reflects on his time at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam ♍2022.
DJ Whoo Kidd accompanied The Acclaimed's Max Caster and Anthony Bowens to the ring for their AEW Tag Team Championship match against Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee. The Acclaimed's popularity was at a fever pitch in Queens as they became the new AE🍸W World Tag Team Champions. Celebratory scissoring broke out among the masses in Arthur Ashe Stadium and in a post-show digital exclusive, DJ Whoo Kid recalled all of the scissoring and joked that he wasn't even aware mass simultaneous scissoring was legal.
"I'm feeling the energy. I felt like I was one with 20,000 people I've never — I mean, I've toured with Eminem, 50 Cent, [in front of 100,000 people]. But those guys were the stars. This is the first time I absorbed the energy with these guys. The Acclaimed. I was scissoring like crazy. I scissored 18,000 fans at the same time. I didn't know that was legal. You can scissor people like that? I don't know, but it was amazing," said DJ Whoo Kid.
Swerve and Lee were accompanied to the ring by Fabolous. 𒊎Who🍌o Kid and Fabolous shared a moment while at ringside.
