“I’ve heard his quote which is why I get pretty hostile about [Eric Bischoff], about me coming to WCW as a broken toy who didn’t have the same fire" he told Roberts. "I could strangle him when I hear that, that is so not true, I was on fire. I wanted to take the world on, I wanted to take that whole compan, I wanted to kick Vince right in the teeth. Give me Booker T, give me [Chris] Benoit, but he was such an idiot. I say all that right to his face if he was here."

He also blamed Bischoff for WWE's eventual acquisition of WCW, which led them towards effectively establishđŸ»ing a monopoly on the pro wrestling scene in North America.

"Look at wrestling today" he continued. "It’s a monopoly, so the wrestlers themselves have no leverage of any kind. They can’t say 'Oh, I’ll go to WCW'. It was so much better for the wrestlers. They had a bargaining table. Today? No, and that’s all Eric Bischoff’s fault, he killed the wrestling business, he was the worst.“

Bret Har♏t's run in WCW ended in 2000 when a sđŸ„ƒtiff superkick from Bill Goldberg effectively ended his career.
