Batista Wants To Come Back And Face Triple H, WWE Says "We'll Think About It"

Appearing on , Batista said that he has reached out to WWE about making a return. However, Batista has on✅e particular idea in mind and, apparently, the company is not interested.

Interviewed on the latest episode of , Batista said he envisio꧑ned coming back to work one last time with Triple H, saying the following:

AEW Full Gear 2024: AEW TBS Title - Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander Result

"I've asked. I've asked for what I want, and I'll tell you. I've talked to Hunter about it and I've talked to Vince [McMahon] about it, I said, I would come back and run a whole program with Hunter. That's the only thing I'm interested in doing. They're just not interested in it."

Batista noted he had brought up the idea on several occasions, saying he had "run it by them a few different times."

If Batista's id🉐ea ever did come to fruition, h💮e said it would build to his final match as a wrestler.

"It would be, like, my retirement thing. It would be what I would go out on," Batista said. "Do a whole program and be done. But that's how I would want to go out. Because we have such a history together, there's so much history built in, there's an easy story to be told. I think people would get into it and they'll like it."

Chances of Batista's concept actually happening might be slim, though -- especially considering Batista's public comments about🐽 Pre𓃲sident Donald Trump and a photo op involving the entire McMahon family, when Linda McMahon officially joi༒ned Trump's Cabinet, overseeing the Small Bus🥃iness Administration.

Tha💜t tweet was not brought up during Jericho'✃s interview of Batista.

"I'm tired of asking," Batista said of the idea of a final program with "The Game". "I don't know if it will ever happen but that's how I would want to go out."

Earlier in the episode, Batista had some very praiseworthy comments about Triple H re⭕garding their main event at WrestleMania 21, which saw Batista defeat his former Evolution stable🐈 mate to begin his first run as a world champion.

"I have to give all the credit to Hunter, the way he built the story, the way he built the match, putting me over, putting the title on me. It was all him. As soon as we had stumbled onto there was some money to be made there, when people saw that me and Hunter might turn on each other, or that I might turn on Hunter, people lost their minds. Vince wanted to book a match next week and Hunter was like, 'Not a chance. No. We're going to milk this. We're going to ride it out. We're going to take it all the way to 'Mania.' That's the way they used to do it all the time—building a storyline, building a big, main event match."

Since leaving WWE in the spring of 2014, Batista has become increasingly busy in the acting world. His latestꦕ movie, the Marvel Films' "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2", is now in theaters.
