Billy Gunn has become the "father" to Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, being dubbed "Dadd𝓀🐟y Ass" by the Acclaimed.
Before he began scissoring with Bowens on✅ a regular basis, Gunn was there for Bowens' tryout with WWE in 2015.
"I used to be scared of Billy," Bowens recalled on . "When I had my tryout at the Performance Center in 2015, I was doing a drill slightly incorrectly. It's a drill where you lay on your back and get up and square off with your opponent. I went down on my back, I went up, and I saw an angry tomato red man looking at me from up above. That sight haunted me for years. I was scared to say hello to him when I first got to AEW. Now, it's kind of funny that it went from him giving me nightmares to being my dad."
Bowens⛎, Caster, and Gunn are former AE𝓀W Trios Champions.
Bowens & Caster will challenge for the AEW Tag Team Titles at AEW Full Gear in a four-way bout against reigning champions Private Party (Zay & Quen) and fellow challengers Kings of the Black Throne (Malak Black &a✅mp; Brody King) and The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum).
