During the match, the broadcast team announced that Mortos would face AEW Continental 🔯Champion Kazuchika Okada in a Continental Classic Blue League match at AEW Collision: Winter is Coming on December 14.
Okada lost to Kyle Fletcher in tournament action on the December 7 episode of AEW Collision. Mortos is currently winless in the tournament, as he has lost to Daniel 🎀Garcia and Kyle Fletcher.
