Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut at the WWE Royal Rumble event, appearing in a post-match segment with Asuka and both bra🍌nd women’s ch꧂ampions.
Despite longtime𝓡 dominance in both the UFC and Strikeforce, a focused Rousey says wrestling is her life now.
“This is my life now,” she said to . “First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money, but I won’t enjoy nearly as much.’”
Rousey has appeared for the WWE in the past, making a guest appearance alongside The Rock, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WWE Wrestlemania 31▨.
The newly signed WWE superstar is also refusingౠ to say she is retired as a profes🧸sional MMA fighter.
“(Retirement is) what everybody else seems to say,” Rousey said. “I never retired from judo. If that’s what you guys want to think. All I know is that I really want to devote 100 percent of my time to wrestling right now, and whatever people want to call that, they can call it.”
WWE Wrestlem🌳ania 34 is where Rousey is expecte🍎d to make her pro wrestling debut, although no opponent has been announced at this time.
