TJ Dillashaw won the UFC Bantamweight Title for a second time when he defeated Cody Garbrandt in the co-main event of UFC 217.
The bantamweight champion has again set his sig🗹hts on UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson and the champ wants “Mighty Mouse” to not 🤪be scared about taking the fight.
“Don’t be scared, man. Let’s get this done,” Dillashaw said to . “This is the fight that makes sense for you and me. This is the fight the fans want to see. This is the fight I want to see. Not sure if you want to see it, but man up – let’s do it.”
Dillashaw and Johnson have been linked together before, but Johnson turned down the super fi💎ght to defend his title against Ray Borg at UFC 216.
While this is now a second attempt to get the fight signed by Dillashaw, the bantamweight champion believes the fight wil🏅l happen this time around.
“This is a fight that will happen – this is a fight that will get the fans entertained. You’ll be glued to the TV because he’s fighting me, not because he’s just fighting. That’s why he doesn’t sell tickets – because everyone knows what’s going to happen,” says Dillashaw.
Johnson broke the consecutive title defense record for male UFC competitors at UFC 216, but the champ𓃲ion hasn’t announced what hi🦂s next step is going to be.
