Tito Ortiz has his story book ending.
Nearly 20 years after his UFC 13 debut, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion defeated Chael 🔯Sonnen at Bellator 170 to close out his career. The two had been embroil꧒ed in a verbal war for several months, culminating in Ortiz sinking in a rear naked choke, forcing Sonnen to tap out.

Round One: The round begins with Ortiz nailing a kicking Sonnen with a two punch combination, Ortiz scores a takedown and Sonnen sweeps him to lock in a guillotine choke. Ortiz escapes the choke to get top position on Sonnen, Ortiz transitions to the full mount on Sonnen. Ortiz then gains back control on a scrambling Sonnen, Or🀅tiz locks in the rear naked choke and a tap out follows.

Following his UFC title run, Ortiz went on a rough skid. Before his UFC release, he'd only emerged victorious in one of his final eight fights. Upon signing with Bellator MMA, Ortiz would win three of his🥃 four contests, with his one loss coming in 2015 to champion Liam McGeary.
