A women’s strawweight division encounter has been added to UFC Fight Night Brooklyn according to as Jessica Penne is going to be in action against Jodie Esquibel.
Penne (12-5-0) is competing for the first time since serving a USADA issued suspension for a failed drug te🌄st ꦗin 2017. Penne also hasn’t picked up a victory in over four years, with that last win coming over Randa Markos at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Penne has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Title, losing to then champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC Fight Night 69.
Esquibel (6-4-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping bouts to the duo of Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Jessica Aguilar. Esquibel has seen her last six professional MMA fights go the distance and it has been over five years since the fighter got a finish. Esquibel has🦩 suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of those defeats have come by way of ♕decision.
