Mauricio Rua Undergoes Another Knee Surgery

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua was supposed to headline UFC Fight Night Japan against Ovince St. Preux.

However, a short time before the event, the Brazilian was forced to withꦍdraw due to a knee injury that occurred during training.

Rua has already had both knees operated on multiple times before and the fighter just ha🐽d another operation done on his injured left knee.

There is currently no timeframe as to when Rua is expected by in the Octagon, but fans ♛shouldn’t expect to see him comp꧃eted until sometime in mid-2018 at the earliest.

When he does make his Octagon return, it may come against Ovince St. Preux, who has already expressed an intere👍st in ♋fighting Shogun upon his return.
