Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio Rua has suffered💧 an undisclosed injury and has been pulled from the main event of UFC Fight Night Japan, where he was set to face Ovince St. Preux in a rematch.

The report also says 💙that OSP is expected the remain on the card and in the main event against an opponent to be announced early next week.
St. Preux (20-10-0) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Marcos Rogerio De Lima at UFC Fight Night 108. St. Preux is also going to be looking to put his first winning streak together in over two years, but his last streak lasted for only two fights. St. Preux has previously challenged for the UFC Interim Light Heavywei🏅ght Title, losing to then champion Jon Jones at UFC 197.
