Justin Ledet Has Been Rolling With The Punches

MMA

Justin Ledet made his UFC debut in 2016, defeating Mark Godbeer by submission and Chase Sherman by unanimous decision. However, with a third UFC bout on the horizon at UFC Fight Night 10šŸ’4, Ledet has simply been rolling with the punches.

ā€œI really didnā€™t know what to think because they had been just feeding me newcomers ā€“ debuters and everything,ā€ Ledet saidĀ to . ā€œI really didnā€™t know what the UFC thought of me, but now, Iā€™m just taking stuff as it comes, so whoever they want to feed me next, however it goes, weā€™re just rolling with the punches right now.ā€

Ledet doesnā€™t know exactly how to classify himself in the UFC, whether heā€™s a newcomer or a veteran, but it doesnā€™t mšŸ€…atter to him in the end.

ā€œItā€™s weird,ā€ Ledet explained. ā€œI definitely wouldnā€™t classify myself as a vet, but I really wouldnā€™t classify myself as a newcomer either. Really, weā€™ve just been taking these fights, and this past 2016 year for me has just been kind of wild. Kind of been taking it as it comes, so when Iā€™m that locker room, itā€™s kind of the same mindset.Ā Weā€™re just in there, and weā€™re just kind of having fun. Thatā€™s really been the setting for my year ā€“ just been having fun and taking what comes.ā€

UFC Fight Night 104 takes ą¹Šplace on Saturday, February 4ā™› from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with Dennis Bermudez and Chan Sung Jung headlining.
