Justin Ledet made his UFC debut in 2016, defeating Mark Godbeer by submission and Chase Sherman by unanimous decision. However, with a third UFC bout on the horizon at UFC Fight Night 10š4, Ledet has simply been rolling with the punches.
āI really didnāt know what to think because they had been just feeding me newcomers ā debuters and everything,ā Ledet saidĀ to . āI really didnāt know what the UFC thought of me, but now, Iām just taking stuff as it comes, so whoever they want to feed me next, however it goes, weāre just rolling with the punches right now.ā
Ledet doesnāt know exactly how to classify himself in the UFC, whether heās a newcomer or a veteran, but it doesnāt mš atter to him in the end.
āItās weird,ā Ledet explained. āI definitely wouldnāt classify myself as a vet, but I really wouldnāt classify myself as a newcomer either. Really, weāve just been taking these fights, and this past 2016 year for me has just been kind of wild. Kind of been taking it as it comes, so when Iām that locker room, itās kind of the same mindset.Ā Weāre just in there, and weāre just kind of having fun. Thatās really been the setting for my year ā just been having fun and taking what comes.ā
UFC Fight Night 104 takes ą¹place on Saturday, February 4ā from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with Dennis Bermudez and Chan Sung Jung headlining.
