"As of now, nothing is confirmed but I am definitely training full-on as if I were signed to one of the companies. I'm taking it very seriously because it is something very serious and kind of keeping close to the vest until there's something to announce," said Swagger.

Fightful's Sea🦹n Ross Sapp asked Swagger about potentially facing fellow WWE alumnus Alberto El Patron in a mixed-martial-arts bout. Swagger said he wants to fight the real competition.

"Do you think...well Alberto already has the MMA background...Do you think two wrestlers crossing over to MMA world, do you think that would be a draw? Would you rather see them go up against an MMA guy?" said Swagger. "I think two pro wrestlers going in there, it would be better if they fought real fighters or true MMA guys," he later added.

Also𒈔 during the interview, Swagger discussed his recruitment process to WℱWE and the time he spent in three different developmental promotions on his way to WWE.

The List and Ya Boy features wrestlers and other wrestling personalities during its interview segments. The List and Ya Boy streams live at 3 pm.
