Legendary boxer Oscar De🐠 La Hoya recently published a statement online talking about how the potential Floyd Mayweat𒉰her/Conor McGregor fight could ruin the sport of boxing.
Upon checking out the statement for himself, UFC Presid💧ent Dana White issued a scathing response of his own to De La Hoya.
The first portion came via Twitter:
WTF ?????

White would 𝕴then appear on The Ryen Rusillo Show, in which he said the follo𝔉wing:
“I’ve known Oscar for a long time, you know. Any time Oscar’s had a fight I’ve always been supportive of his fights,” said White. "It’s so weird. I honestly don’t even know what to say. It’s the weirdest thing that I have ever seen ever anywhere in any promotion. Normally with the boxing guys, those guys are all chomping at the bit. They’re all fighting against each other all the time anyway, because most of the guys in the sport are a bunch of scumbags. Listen, if you’ve got to get up every day and deal with Bob Arum, I’d rather shoot myself in the face than deal with that scumbag every day. But I’ve always had a pretty decent working relationship with Oscar, and it was just completely out of left field and weird and out of character for him. And just I think a bad way to handle it. What do you care if these two fight?”
UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is the only one of the two fighters to sign the bout agreement for the super fight, negotiations꧙ with Mayweather are expected to start soon.
