It would seem like the rivalry between UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor will not come to an end.
The duo, who𝓡 are still serving suspensions in line with the post-fig🍬ht brawl at UFC 229, would take to battle through social media.
Everything seemingly started when Nurmagomedov po🥃sted the following on Instagram & Twitter:
There can be only one king in the jungle.
— khabib nurmagomedov (@TeamKhabib)
Only
That would lಌead to McGregor stat🌱ing the following through Twitter:
You got your money took and your brothers eye socket shook when you fought me you little rat.
— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA)
Viva Las Vegas baby the gaf always wins.
Big stomper party in the Wynn coming soon!
Nurmagomed𒁃ov would return fire a short time later on Twitter:
money comes and goes, the honor that you lost that evening will never return, live with it.
— khabib nurmagomedov (@TeamKhabib)
Finish career in mma,🌌 but start career on twitter?
Things would calm down between the two for ღa short period of time, but then McGregor 💙would tweet that Nurmagomedov’s wife was a towel.
That tweet has since been🀅 deleted, but it was still captured before the retired UFC fiꦏghter took it down:
Conor McGregor has now deleted this tweet...

He went way too far.
While Nurmagomedov has yet to respond to the insult from McGregor, it hasn’t stopped his agent in Ali Abdelaziz from posting the following on Twitter:
Talking shit, this guy is insulting someone’s wife and making fun of her religion and belief. He doesn’t realize he’s insulting 1.5 billon Muslims. Religion and family is a no no. You’re fuc🌠ked Connor, let’s see what the media is going to say now.൲ He’s a rapist, and a bitch.
— Ali Abdelaziz (@AliAbdelaziz00)
McGregor and Nurmagomedov’s only Octagon encounter happened at UFC 229, with Nurmagomedov scoring a fourth round ꦺsubmission win on that night. The rivalry between the two has been personal for a long time now, with McGregor attacking the lightweight champion’s religion, family and now his wife.
