Chuck Liddell Feels Latin American MMA Scene Is Underdeveloped

Chuck Liddell just got done with a coaching stint opposite Forrest Griffin on the UFC Ultimate Fighter: Latin America III, but after coaching some of the best prospects that Latin America has to offer, he feels that th𝔉e region is still underdevelo🐽ped when it comes to overall talent.

“You’ve got some great striking, good jiu-jitsu, but they’re missing the rest of the lot, and they’re missing how to connect all three of them together,” Liddell said at . “I think they’re a few years behind.”

Despite his feelings that the Latin American MMA s🍨cene is underdeveloped, Liddell suspects that they w෴ill come around, much like the European MMA scene has.

“You start picking up a couple of them, and now we’ve got a European champion,” said Liddell. “It’s not that far out.”

Liddell is a member of the UFC Hall Of Fame and the man he coached against at the UFC Ultimate Fighter: Latin America III, Forrest Griffin, is in the UFC 🙈Hall Oꦡf Fame as well.
